ROQ powers Europe’s largest merchandising hub
ROQ was the strategic choice of OPT OnDemand, one of Europe’s most ambitious companies in the merchandising sector. Aiming to build the continent’s largest hub dedicated to the production and distribution of customized merchandise, the company, led by Ondrej Parpel, invested in ROQ technology to achieve a significant leap in innovation, productivity, and reliability.
“With the complexity of services we provide, we believe this will become the go-to center for brands worldwide to produce, customize, and ship their merchandising products,” says Ondrej Parpel, founder of OPT OnDemand, who works with some of the biggest global names. “These brands expect from us the same level of service they receive in the UK or the US.”
The decision to completely replace the screen printing equipment was made at the end of last year. The company opted to move away from a heterogeneous setup — with different print sizes and color capacities — and standardize the operation with cutting-edge technology. “With increasing production volumes, it became clear we needed to upgrade to more advanced solutions that offer greater flexibility and real productivity gains.”
The collaboration with ROQ and Service Centrum, the technical support center in Brno, was critical to the success of the project. “We consistently felt supported, with excellent communication between ROQ teams, our technicians, and project managers. The entire process ran smoothly.”
From planning to installation, the project was completed in just three months — ten days ahead of schedule. “The experience was extremely positive. We received support from layout planning to implementation, and the installation itself was flawless. In just two weeks, we transitioned our entire production line.”
In a sector where agility and responsiveness are key, this technological transformation positions OPT OnDemand as one of Europe’s top printing centers. “With this change, we are fully prepared to meet the highest demands in terms of quality, speed, and flexibility.”
